1-on-1 PEER SUPPORT

Not a therapist. Not someone who will tell you to forgive and move on. Just a real conversation with someone who has lived it — and come out the other side.

No commitment. Just a conversation to see if we're a good fit.

Therapy is invaluable — and I'll always encourage you to work with a licensed professional if you can. But peer support fills a different kind of gap. It's the conversation you can't always have in a clinical setting. The one where someone says "me too" and actually means it.

And that's the point.

IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?

and I've been there.

Hi, I'm Veronika -

I'm not a therapist. I'm a survivor. I've lived through family trauma, disconnection, estrangement, and the slow, real work of building a life on the other side of it. I built Beyond Family Trauma because I needed a space like this — and I show up to these sessions as someone who gets it, because I lived it.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Things people ask before booking

Is this the same as therapy?

No — and I want to be clear about that. I'm not a licensed therapist and these sessions are not a clinical service. Peer support is a conversation between two people with shared experience. I'll always encourage you to work with a therapist too if you're able to.

What if I'm not ready to talk about everything?

You never have to share more than you're ready to. We go at your pace, always. There's no agenda other than giving you a space to be heard.

Is what I share confidential?

Yes. What you share in our sessions stays between us. The only exception would be if I believed you were in immediate danger — in which case I would encourage you to contact emergency services.

What if we're not a good fit?

That's exactly what the free intro call is for. If after our intro call we don't feel like the right match, there's no pressure and no charge. Your wellbeing comes first.

How do I book?

Click any of the booking buttons on this page — you'll be taken to my Calendly where you can choose a time that works for you. Sessions are held on Zoom.

Peer support sessions with Beyond Family Trauma are not therapy and do not constitute a therapeutic or clinical relationship. Veronika is not a licensed mental health professional. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or call a crisis
